Banca

I still remember vividly my experienced riding a banca when I was a little kid with my family, taking us to an island of 100 Islands in Pangasinan.

Tribike

A bike with a sidecar, another good idea since the gasoline went up badly.

Bus

This bus is for a long distance travel (like from Manila to Baguio and vice versa) to some places in the northen part of Luzon. There are different bus company also traveled at the southern part of Luzon, as well at the other part of the Philippines.

The name of the bus company I posted was Victory Liner. At the top was an ordinary bus for passenger who choose to an open air window and less fare. Some passengers prefer to ride comfortably to their long journey, they choose to take a bus with an air conditon on it which is about 15% or more higher than the ordinary bus fare.

Kalesa

We called this as "kalesa". I don't know if they're still exist now a days in the Philippines. It's going to be a good idea bringing them back as a transportation since gasoline is too expensive. Calesa will take you a lot of time before you reach the place where you're going, though.

Tricycle

You can find this kind of public transportation anywhere in the Philippines, we called "tricycle". It's for a short distance travel. It's fun to ride this kind of 3 wheeled vehicle and the fare is cheap. It can accomodate up to 4 passengers (3 inside & 1 behind the driver. This small public utility vehicle drived by its owner to support their family, and other owners let someone to drive and split whatever the income amount of that day.
Try to take tricycle for a ride if you visit the Philippines, I'm sure you'll gonna enjoy it.

(Whoever the owner of those pictures I posted here, hope you don't mind if i used it on my topic "Tricycle". Just want to show different kind of transportation we had in the Philippines, thank you and mabuhay)
